[liphp] Big MySQL problem

Well, I renamed my web directory and rebooted again. MySQL is now
running perfectly normally. I was able to get in and see all my
data. The problem was probably some runaway query in one of my web
pages, since I just retooled my whole site and brought it live last
week.

When I found out what brought the DB to its knees, I will vow to die
with the secret. OK, OK, I'll tell. :)

Interestingly enough, the rest of the system behaved perfectly
normally. I was able to read mail (obviously), take directories, and
all that stuff without any hassle. Talk about crash-proof.

It is practically impossible to teach good programming style to students
that have had prior exposure to BASIC: as potential programmers they are
mentally mutilated beyond hope of regeneration.
